In the 125 years since our founding, national pta has played a big role in historic achievements, including the establishment of public school kindergartens, child labor. Founders’ day celebrate the legacy and work of our founders —alice mclellan birney, phoebe apperson hearst and selena sloan butler — to improve the lives of all children.
